Material

The Bell Race Star DLX-Flex has a carbon shell, which is a strong yet lightweight material. This is great for better shock absorption and it protects your head in case of an accident. This Bell helmet weighs 1421 grams, which makes the helmet light enough to prevent neck fatigue during long rides or fast races.

The helmet comes in five shell sizes (XS-S, M, L, XL, XXL), which means that this racing helmet is one of the most compact helmets in the racing category. Comfort

The Race Star DLX Flex comes with their Virus CoolJade Inner Liner, which is soft, breathable, and keeps your head cool even during longer rides. This inner liner is removable and washable making it easy to keep the helmet fresh. The inner liner is anti-bacterial which improves a clean inner liner.

The helmet has magnetic cheek pads which results in a more comfortable fit. The inner liner is glasses-friendly which means this helmet will not put pressure on your head while wearing glasses. Hot air leaves the helmet through multiple back vents to keep the helmet cool. This helmet includes a spoiler that reduces drag and keeps the helmet steady at high speeds. This makes it easier to stay focused on the road or track without distractions from wind pushing the helmet around.
